THREE LIVE MUSIC STAGES and TWO GIANT SCREENS!

The Waverley Stage

This year featuring King Creosote, better known as Fife-based singer-songwriter Kenny Anderson, has had a phenomenal year with yet another critically acclaimed album under his belt. Trans-Global Underground refuse to accept dance music has to be four to the floor house - they slowed down hip-hop and sped up dub and their live show is something to behold. Figure 5 bring you utterly infectious guitar pop that's simply begging for the big-time.

The Scott Monument Stage

Taking to the Scott Monument stage are Kissmet, the leaders of the British-Asian fusion scene, with a band who are half-Indian and half-British combining elements of bhangra, rock, raags and funk to create a unique sound. Alongside them are Go-Lem System, a Barcelona-based latino reggae outfit and the Red Hot Chilli Pipers, bagpipes with attitude and a show so hot, it should carry a health warning. They've been rocking the world from Athens to Beijing and return home for what's sure to be a stellar set.

The Mound Stage

Featuring TM Hands - already supporting heavyweight acts after just 6 months, the four members fit like a glove.

Peter Hook, founder member of both Joy Division and New Order, takes to the stage in an exclusive DJ set, offering his own personal insight into the music which defined and styled a generation - and he should know because he was one of those dance music pioneers. Finally, The Great Calverto will give us his irreverent take on pop music as Edinburgh's undisputed party king.
